About RePurposely Designed
ReClaimed • ReLoved • ReImagined
Where It Started
RePurposely Designed began with a simple belief: the most beautiful things are the ones with a story already stitched into them. Long before it became a business, it was a habit — rescuing a worn quilt from a thrift store shelf, saving a vintage tablecloth from the donation pile, pulling apart a garment just to see what it could become next.
That habit turned into a craft. And the craft turned into RePurposely Designed.
A Creative Journey, Not a Straight Line
This business hasn't looked the same from day one — and that's by design. Several years ago, RePurposely Designed took a real turn in creative direction, and it's been evolving ever since. What's stayed constant through every shift is the why: a commitment to sustainability, and a love of giving salvaged and vintage textiles a second life.
Every piece — whether it's a fashion item or something made for the home — starts with fabric that already existed. Nothing is made from scratch materials. Instead, salvaged textiles, vintage finds, and forgotten fabrics are sourced, sorted, and reimagined into something new. It's slower work than starting with a bolt of new fabric off the shelf, but it's the whole point: less waste, more character, and pieces that couldn't be replicated even if someone tried.
Sustainability at the Core
Sustainability isn't a marketing angle here — it's the reason this business exists. Every salvaged textile that becomes a finished piece is one less thing headed for a landfill. Every vintage fabric that gets a second act is proof that "old" and "outdated" aren't the same thing.
Handmade, One Piece at a Time
Every item is handcrafted, which means no two pieces are ever quite the same — and that's the point. When you choose something from RePurposely Designed, you're not just choosing a product. You're choosing a piece of fabric that had a whole life before it reached you, remade into something worth loving all over again.
ReClaimed. ReLoved. ReImagined. That's not just a tagline — it's the whole story.
